EQ-Lib-PTFE

Lib-PVDF

Lib-CMC
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene which is consisting wholly of carbon and fluorine. Compared with Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) binder, PTFE binder has better chemical and thermal stability because of its stable CF2-CF2 unit. Compared to PVDF, PTFE binder is ideal for the applications in alkaline environment since PVDF will strongly degrade in alkaline environment via dehydroflurination.
Battery grade CMC is used as a thickening agent and anti-precipitant when preparing anode of Li-ion battery.
Technical Specifications:
- Appearance: White Powder
- Purity: ≥ 99.5%
- Average substitution degree of 75%.
- Viscosity: 1% aqueous solution, Brookfield (DV-E), 30rpm. The CMC with two viscosity is available: [High:3500-5500 mPa·s] and [Low:1900-2200 mPa·s].
- Mesh Size: 200, >85%
PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride ) binder is for mixing together with cathode or anode powder to prepare Li-ion battery electrode.
